Join Us in Celebrating Two Decades of Black Monks Rugby

The Benedictine rugby club team dates back to 1967, when it was known as the Ruggers. It was disbanded in 1973, but was revived in 1996 as the Black Friars. That team disbanded again in 2001. Benedictine College student Randy Lewis brought the team back in 2003 as the Black Monks. Last year, the Black Monks Rugby Football Club celebrated 20 years of rugby!
